Roofer

We are seeking an experienced Roofer to join our client's growing team in the Auckland region. This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, offering a variety of residential roofing work and occasional light commercial projects.

Location: Auckland (primarily Franklin, with work extending from Auckland Central to Cambridge)
Pay: NZD $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Minimum 30 guaranteed hours per week
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

• Install, repair, and replace long-run metal roofing systems
• Carry out re-roofing and roofing maintenance work on residential and light commercial buildings
• Install roofing underlay, flashings, ridge caps, gutters, and edge details
• Read and work from plans, specifications, and site instructions
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and is fully watertight
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times
• Follow all site-specific health and safety requirements
• Travel to various work locations throughout the Auckland region as required

What We're Looking For

• A recognised roofing qualification, or a minimum of three years' relevant roofing experience.
• Proven experience in long-run metal roofing
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good technical skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to carry out the manual demands of roofing work
• Comfortable working at heights and following safe work practices
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional
• Good communication skills and ability to work with clients and team members
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence
• Willingness to travel throughout Auckland and surrounding regions when required

• Experience on both residential and commercial roofing projects
